Agora Shopping Cart

The Agora shopping Cart is a script program available through your cPanel Control Panel.

All scripts on the server run under your ID (Usually your sign-in or user name). There is no need to run the test_id.cgi script as described on the Agora Site.
The path to perl on the server is usr/bin/perl. However you will need other characters in front of this so the statement in the script would look like this:
#!usr/bin/perl

Installation

Do not create the directory before installing the shopping cart. It will be installed for you automatically.

Go to your control panel and click on the Agora Shopping Cart Icon or link. (Depends on which control panel skin you are using)

Enter an "Admin User" name, an "Admin Pass" and a top level directory like cart or some such thing. Be sure to right down the user name and password.

Click "Install". All the necessary files will be installed on the server.

Store Manager Access

To go to the shopping cart administration are, use your browser and type in an address as below. Note, be sure to use your own domain name and folder name (the top level directory name you used above).

Replace "yourdomain" with your domain name.
Replace ".ext" with whatever your domain name uses (.com, .net, .us)
Replace cart with whatever your directory is named.
