Nameservers (DNS)Included in your welcome email is a set of nameservers. Nameservers are what the various routers on the internet use to find your site. We use several different sets of nameservers so they are not included here. Please refer to your welcome email for the proper nameservers for your account. The vast majority of registrars do not require the IP addresses. They are included for those few that do. Please go to your registrar and change your nameservers (DNS) to the information shown in your welcome email. Your account will not work correctly if you do not do this. There are a lot of different registrars and a lot of different methods for changing nameservers, so if you need help, please contact your registrar or check their help section. If you are unsure who your domain registrar is, please contact us. If you experience any difficulty with this step, we're here to help. After making the change, you may not be able to access your site by the domain name for a period of up to 72 hours while the nameserver change propagates. This is a function of your registrar and the internet in general and a process over which we have no control. |
