This demo will show you how to create more ftp accounts in Paper Lantern if your package allows it.
This demo assumes you’ve already logged in to cPanel, and are starting on the home screen.
Now let’s learn how to setup additional FTP accounts. Click the “FTP Accounts” icon.
To create a new FTP account, enter a new login and password. The Directory text box defines the new FTP account’s top level of directory access. For example, if you enter example in the Directory text box, the FTP account can access the /home/$user/example/ directory and all of its subdirectories. The system automatically populates this text box with /public_html/demouser, where demouser is the username that you entered in the Login text box.
Then click “Create FTP Account”.
That’s it! The new FTP account has been created.
You can then change the FTP account’s password, quota, or delete the account.
This is the end of the tutorial. You now know how to create additional FTP accounts in cPanel.
